It turns out that the King of Pop and Gladiator himself had a very interesting relationship for many years. Russell Crowe, the Australian actor best known for his work in Gladiator, A Beautiful Mind, and Les Miserables, reveals that Michael Jackson would constantly prank call him at home or in a hotel for over three years! The strangest part? The two had never even met! Crowe states in an interview with The Guardian that, " I never met him, never shook his hand, but he found out the name I stayed in hotels under, so it didn’t matter where I was, he’d ring up do this kind of thing, like you did when you were 10, you know.
